You do not need to be a vintage record enthusiast to appreciate this disc however, since many of the tunes are well known. "Smilin’ Through", "Ma curly Headed Baby", "Ciribiribim" and a whole host of others from the period 1912-1929 In the last track, the recording engineer cleverly switches from an original Blue Amberol recording to the organ transcription. The join is obvious, but shows how and where the inspiration for this CD came from.
